1. Payment.   when paying for the upcoming month.

2. Cancelling Lessons. To cancel a lesson, please give me 48 hours advance notice.  You must reschedule your lesson for a date within 4 days of the original scheduled time.  If the lesson is not rescheduled within 4 days, your payment will be forfeited, and will not be applied to future lessons.

I occasionally need to cancel or reschedule lessons because of performance and touring engagements.  If I have to cancel a lesson, I'll give you as much advance notice as possible and your payment will be credited or refunded.

2. No-Shows.  If you do not show up and have not contacted me, your balance will be deducted for the lesson.  Please remember that your lesson time is reserved in my schedule, whether you attend or not.

3. Punctuality. If you are late, the lesson will still need to end on time to maintain the schedule with other students. There is no waiting area at either of my locations, so please refrain from entering the teaching space until your designated time.  At the end of your lesson, if a student is coming in after you, please be considerate and exit your lesson promptly.

Write Your Musical Goals
Please be ready to answer the following questions. We can use your musical goals and interests to develop a personalized lesson plan for you. You are encouraged to bring specific music you wish to focus on.
1) What attracts you to this instrument?
2) Are there specific songs or styles that you'd like to learn to play/sing? If so, please list them.
3) Are there specific artists who inspire you?

Recording Lesson Material
Students are encouraged to bring audio or video-recording devices. This is an extremely valuable way to review and reference lesson content - you will learn faster!
